The Pale Horse

The Pale Horse

A Poem by Nihilus
"

First in the series The Four Horsemen

"

I saw a figure striding over the land.
Blackness and despair behind him stand.
Fire and pain; the end of all things.
The sweetest melody his scythe does sing
Swiftly reaping the souls of men,
Demanding payment for un-remitted sin.

Faced with this Apocalypse of existence,
It's high time for a little repentance.

I looked and beheld a pale horse; and Death sat upon him.

Hell followed with him.
