Writing prompt love letter for teens.

"
My dearest rose,
I can't help but compare you to the flower that is both gorgeous and deadly. I have watched you as you struggle through life, much like the wild roses we stumbled across one day. I've been by your side as you keep getting knocked down, and I admire the courage you have to keep going. I wish I could preserve the light in your eyes, much like many want to hold onto the fleeting moment in which roses hold their colors. But there is nothing for me to do for my blackened rose, except to love you. You use your thorns to hold me at bay, however, and I'm not sure you even realize it. So I must give you time to lay down your roots, and grow into your own. I'll be your gardener, as long as you'll have me. Which, admittedly, I'm hoping is the rest of my life, even though we are only seventeen. I could go on writing for hours, but I should be studying, so I can come visit you. I hope this letter eases the burden on your heart until I can hold you in my arms again.
With all my heart,
Joseph.
