Atheist poem

There was once a little girl,

Who loved to read, don’t you see?

But now she’s blind at 10,

Oh, what an irony.

Yet people still take a stand,

That God still guides us with his helping hand. 

There was once a little boy

Who smiled, not even two, even through the strife

Because on this mournful day,

The abuse took his life 

And people claim that God is still watching out,

And not to let there be any doubt. 

There once was a teenager,

Who had her whole life before her.

Yet, she was kidnapped and murdered,

And now she is no longer, forever.

God is just and loving, they say.

And everything will be made clear on Revelation Day.

Abused and beaten are the animals-

 Cats and dogs, and horses too.

All because they’re not people

And though it’s cruelty, it doesn’t give us a clue. 

Christians can lie like the rest,

Maybe God isn’t really the best.
