Requiem of a Nobody

Requiem of a Nobody

A Poem by Andrew Nightingale

Now I’ve lost it,

I know I can kill.

Twist my fate,

Control my will.

I’ve lost my soul

Damn the facts

Because I’m ripping wings

Off of angel’s backs.

Who am I now?

An empty shell.

No will, no heart,

Save me somehow!

Neither heaven nor hell

Wants a Nobody like me

In a world that never was

God please set me free

And I wait in the Abyss

Chained deep in the Night.

I’m a Nobody, possessed

Damned to cry in the moonlight.
