To An Angel

To An Angel

A Poem by Andrew Nightingale
"

Random poem from the heart

"

I’ve been abandoned, I’ve been betrayed,

I’m tired of acting this foolish charade.

I want to be loved and have love in return,

And not deceive, lie and take a wrong turn.

Why is my life so hard for me?

A lot of pain no one can see.

I have this love to give, they say,

And when I try, I get pushed away.

I have been scared, my heart is torn,

In the dark I remain, unmended and worn.

A fallen angel I am, alone for now,

My love save me, some way, some how!
