The Walls Are A Deep Bloody RedA Poem by Aurora .I.Oh dreams you can be so frightening sometimes.
Stop looking at me with those eyes
Full of worry-which I despise Stop speaking to me in that tone Pretending to know What is going on in my head? Well the walls are a deep bloody red There used to be a bright sunny coat there But like all paint, it began to ware You of all people should understand my love That being a perfect little dove is quite hard Sometimes you want to be the one to crush To employ the fear To act like the only one here To hurt everyone near You know your voice is laced with fear I'm sorry. Have I frightened you dear? But hush, hush. Don't you cry. Your wife is going to sing you a beautiful lullaby Let all your worries go to ease Let your body blend into the melody That's right Go to sleep Forget all of those blurry memories Though they are quite vivid for me Oh darling what's this on your collar? Fresh blood? Hmm I wonder... Oh well I guess you won't be here for dinner © 2012 Aurora .I.Author's Note
