Would You?

Something I wrote a few years back. If I remember correctly, this was made from some dream I had.

If I told you that I loved him.
Would you go to him and murder?
Would you then come back to my sorrow
Would you feel guilty but relieved? Because I need you ?
Would I be able to borrow?
Would you be my tissue when I weep?
Would be my cradle when I sleep?
Would you be my teddy when I needed a hug?
Would you be the one I love?

Would I be able to depended on you?
And then pretend that I don’t love you?
Would I be able to smile when I see you down?
And bring the demons back down too?

If I told you that I loved you
Would you cry tears not of sorrow like the ones before?
Would you cry tears of happiness and lean down and  
Spin me around some more?
Then put me down and admit to your faults?
Go back to my old love
And piece him back apart?


Come running back to me and I’d be waiting.
Leaning on your chest like I did when I depended.
Now I’m not depended but I still need it.
I need you.
I love you.
So would you?
