Lovestruck

This is another of the three poems I have written for my girlfriend.

Lasting foolish thoughts of romance.
Only thinking about that one girl.
Venerating her every words, her thoughts, and feelings.
Eternally wanting to please the one who holds your heart tightly and closely.
Singing hymns and praises of her beauty and heart.
Trusting her judgement, trusting her words.
Romancing her with flowers and sweet words, meaning them completely.
Understanding and always caring about her as a person, not a toy.
Continuously losing yourself in thoughts of her and her love.
Keep my heart, you own it ma chérie.

This is awesome sir! I can completely relate to your poem. Girls have no idea what power over our heart they possess. It's like a sorcery of total control that they use on our thoughts and body.

I like the way you spoke of it in a creative and poetic manner and I really appreciate the little French term you put at the end. I actually jumped out of my desk when I saw it, not only it caught me by surprise but it fitted perfectly. As a French dude I found that really awesome.

It's okay, really it is. Taylor is actually a nickname my friends gave me so I hadn't thought of the fact I would be confused for a man.

.... No one is nuttier than my friends..... Trust me.... unless you manage to catch a cup of coffee on fire using coffee creamer. My friends are weird.

She filled it with coffee and then put in creamer. Before the creamer completely dissolved, she used a lighter and lit it on fire.... It was a wonderful birthday present.

Yep.... Especially since I gave her a box of glass marbles filled with a blue dye that may or may not have coloured her skin blue once placed in her bath water.
