Blooming Flower

"Way of life we all go through at least once."

I thought I was a 

blooming flower,

Out from a bud.

Green stem helping

Me root down,

The petals being my clothes,

My fragrance attracting 

The birds for their food,

My leaves keeping me 

Sane and balanced.

My thorns being my

Self protection.

I thought I was a

Blooming flower until,

Until a strong wind blew

By,

Uprooting me, shedding

My petals,

No birds came to me

Anymore; my thorns

Proved useless. 

But I bore my

Seeds inside me.

I will bloom again.

Yes it will take

Time, maybe the

Right weather,

I will find a better

Place to sow myself

And grow.

But I will bloom again.

Each passage brings with it so much light, even in the suffering shadows of self discovery. There is the understanding that you are alive and giving of your richness, then the painful storms that rip at your soul, but in the end these seeds you carry will live again, reincarnated lifetime by lifetime and full of hope.
