Let the One

Let the One

A Poem by NicolinaJade

Let the One

BY: Nicolina J Wilson

Let the day go on and on

Let the night strive for the one

The one who knows

The one who feels

Let the stars shine on

Living lights

Show the way

Hold onto time

Hold it back, hold the way

Let the one who knows keep the dawn

Let the one who hides keep the shadows

Let the one who lives hold the light

Let the one who sees own the future

Let time fall into nothing

Let whispers ease and rest

Let these thoughts drift on

Let me forget

Let time heal the past

Let me fall to the ground

Let this be the winter I’ve waited for

Let love heal this heart of mine

Bittered by time

Let hope wash in through the tide

Ohhh-YES, Nicolina! 🍂

Let all things good, soothing, sating, and wonderful befall your lovely, deserving self, Dear Lady-Poet.
May each trial and tribulation turn into a sweet blessing your deserving heart, mind, soul, and deepest emotion can dance, soar, and sing to … I'm glad you've chosen the Café to treat us with your special poetry.
"Let hope wash in through the tide" -- Yes, indeed!

This is beautiful poeting, Nicolina … the kind that reaches in to caress one's core, and so much more.
Smiles 'n hugs from now on, and warmest thanks for sharing You, M'Lady Fellow-Texan! ⁓ Richard 🍃

This sounds like a mediation more than anything. A letting go.

Nicely done.
