raven

raven

A Poem by Nicolette Rose
"

old a*s automatic writing

"
hilltops humming springs of fire
officiously quiet with needless obliteration
comprimising love and resolute trust
hands in and fearful
in a dead chants chokehold
it’s neck harnessing gravity
intimate contraction from the mountain scenery
seizing, and i got that fleeting moment of empathy
and love with the birds as they sing
whose chants and soon insomniacs draw destruction
and it’s hard when you aren’t living in this moment
these can only be your demons controlling you
hand rested in mine but your face is still a mystery
i don’t know what you’re like
i have a feeling you might be radiant
autumn dens and hopeful tears
my hands and brigand fears
arrive on the front line
a breath for lust
a breath for trust
