MirrororriM

A Poem by Nicolette Rose

hate the mirror
it burns and it grieves
softly it weeps for your sanity
hate the wetness
under it’s eyes
it holds all your faith
a pastor’s ignorance
it sings
it holds a melody
it leaves you in the dust while it runs away
it clouds the sky
it burns your eyes
it holds nothing of importance
only vanity
