Reminiscent

Reminiscent

A Poem by Nicole Renee

I miss the moments underneath the stars,

Walking alongside talking for hours,

Having the feeling of content warm in my heart;

And I miss the first kiss when I less expected it.

Who knew memories such like these

Could hold such a power inside my mind,

Making me crave for the touch of romance

To walk along my path once again,

Making me listen to silly love songs

And write poetry about such a strong emotion!

So let me bask in the sounds of future love until I can find it;

It’ll stray onto my path sooner or later

Right?

Everybody around me has started dating somebody,
gotten engaged, or are just in a relationship.
So I've been thinking about love lately.
