Night Wishes

The cool breeze is wrapping me up

On this starry sky night,

The blades of grass caressing my very skin

As I roll around slowly to get into a position.

I then stare up at the night sky and want to be among them,

The very wish that you wish upon on,
Being a nostalgia that fills up your mind

And picks at your brain every moment of the day.

They twirl around and shoot all over in the sky,

Making everybody’s dreams coming true or

Making them awake for the realization of that dream

That’s buried in the very back of their minds.

And all over the world, the stars are wished upon,

Some hoping for a miracle while others hope for something else.
It makes me wrinkle my nose, the stars continuing to be a trance.

I’m waiting for my miracle, and a set of eyes that I’ve only dreamed of.

So just let me be in my state of mind for one night,
Letting me dream of being a star so I could be watching

Over you in a secret disguise.

..And I feel incredibly cheesy for writing this. But it came to me...
Plus, I'm trying to write more poetry and short stories. xD
So I might come and fix this poem later on. It's 3:45 AM where I am...
