Just Dance

Just Dance

A Poem by Nicole Renee

The electricity pulses through,
My muscles jumping and thumping to every beat
As a light floating sensation makes me feel all giddy inside.
You can’t stop me from doing what is right in this world,
Or at least for one single night, where all your worries go down the drain
And where there may be a chance of just having fun all night, all hour.
I wanna do this like there’s no tomorrow, no sunrise and no alarms
To aware me that I should run towards the door and run into the darkness,
Even if all the pretty colors allure me like the crystal ball in the middle of the floor.
I know that my outfit might look crazy for tonight, wacky as crazy dream
That you might have had during the other night. But don’t worry.
I’m right here by your side to help you along the ride.
So just settle down and have a drink while you watch all the
Pretty people moving around mingling with one another.
All we have to do is just dance.

You can probably tell what song inspired me to do this (shortish) poem. Haha. :D
But just tell me if you can't see the word colors.
