The Fake RealityA Poem by Nicole Renee
Simple, but tasteful.
Lovely, but blurred.
Why can’t anything be
Clear as the blue sky above my head, And why can’t I see the bluffed From the formed reality that’s in the front of me?
Maybe I’m just being too wishful;
The thought of it being too much to bear for my mind,
And the delicate smells and images forcing me
To realize that I might be dreaming,
Or that I might be awake.
But who knows what might happen
While I walk this empty road in my mind.
There may be a fork in the road, or a silent end That’s being traveled along side in my mind.
