Lacking Patience

Lacking Patience

A Poem by Nicole Renee

Going crazy,

I can’t sit here,
I can’t work.

The itch to run

Is the first thing

On my mind,

My legs dreaming

Of just walking away

From where I must

Be bound to.

I want to drain my

Brain from any thought

That connects to walking off,

That wishes to be free out

In the air, and in the clouds

That would let my hands touch

The softness of its existence.

But I must concentrate, I must work.
The hour will come when it needs to come.

I can't concentrate on anything! My lower back's been hurting for the past three or four days(a pinched nerve, I think), and prom is today! :]
