Stop Falling, I Insist

Stop Falling, I Insist

A Poem by Nicole Renee

Stop falling, I insist.

You must, you must, you must!

I can't take it anymore,

I wish I could be blunt,

I wish I could switch off your brain.

I know that you're falling, and the

Temptation is oh so thrilling to you.

But I don't like where this is going,

And I want to cut the cord.

Please stop falling for me.

The pleading over and over, seemingly to no avail... Thus is the overwhelming nature of falling... Very interesting write!

Sounds as though you have been the recipient of some unwanted attention. I like this, it sounds like the popular girl telling the geek to leave her alone, while deep in her heart, he's who she really wants. THe flow is great, good job.
