Where you watching me tonight?
Where you watching the world from

Your eyes to see how everything went?

So if you did, when he came in, did you think

That he was gentleman enough for me;

That he could take on what I had to say,

Even if I did or didn’t have much to say at all?

 And where you worried that he would do

Anything to harm me in any way? If so,
I’m hoping you’re not worrying too much

Because I know that mom and dad seemed

To enjoy his company, with first impression

On them when they met for the first time.

 

So I’m wondering about what you had thought about this…

Wondering if you were pleased or not with who was sitting next me…

Wondering if you were watching me tonight…….

Author's Note

A poem to my uncle (and godfather). I had my first date tonight (well, a mini date),so I'm just wondering if he was watching over me because my uncle had made a promise that he'd watch me on my first date.

I'm not sure what to say about this poem,but it might be choppy or whatever. But it's what I want to say in my own creative way. But I might come and fix this poem up again if I remember or not. ^_^
