Too Deep, Too In Love

Too Deep, Too In Love

A Poem by Nicole Renee

Watching who I love drown slowly

In his power as a king,

I cringe at the touch of coldness

From the iron bars that hold me

From my true feelings and his actions,

Making me wonder if I really should

Stay by his side or fade away into the crowd,
Even though I feel that I should stay
With my beloved, the man that
Taunts me in my dreams.

I touch the bars again,

Hesitant to even take a step

Before my legs do the walking,

My brain unattached from my nerves.

And with this walk, I take another step,

Wondering if my actions are the right thing to do?

Inspirations: Sally's Song in the Nightmare Before Christmas (Revisited cd) sung by Amy Lee.

This song's amazing...and I still need to see Nightmare. xD

Watch this video (though) to see what I would be talking about in my poem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Qg_ICDf0bE&feature=related
