The Love Affair

Five minute thing for the 'Inpulsive Keyboard' contest

 

Dipping my spoon into my tea,

It made music to my ears;

As if they were having a secret love affair

Because the tea spoon was so alone,
With no companion to make happy.
But when it got to the tea,

It sang along and danced around and around;

A never-ending dance along a circled, bottomed pit.
So when the tea spoon had to leave,
The tea cried until it knew its fate,

Being sipped upon by my pink, colored lips.

Haha, yes! I got it exactly on the dot for the five minute contest because it's 12:25 a.m. ,and I started at 12:20 a.m. ! xD

...And yes, this is kind of cheesy. But whatever. ^_^

Huh. I love the perspective, for sure. I think flow and diction could be fixed up, but for a five minute piece not bad at all. :) Inspirational, actually; it makes me want to broaden my ideas.

I thought it was cute, not cheesy. Very descriptive. I love it. I really like the way you made it look as if the tea and spoon had feelings and were living. I very much enjoyed that. I haven't had tea like that in ages. It really makes me want some. Bravo!
