Break Me Bloody

Break Me Bloody

A Poem by Nicole Renee

Take notice of me and don’t let me go!

I’m going to fight for what’s right
And even for what’s wrong,

Breaking every glass barrier

Until I’m alive and well
With only what would be left;

My Heart. My Soul. My Life.

I only wish to been seen through

The barrier that I’m tied to with

The mask covering up what

 I could look like to you.

You’re the only one

Who has the key…
