The Night CrawlersA Poem by Nicole ReneeInsomnia poem
Into the night, The spiders creep and crawl; Onto your skin and onto your clothes, It’s impossible to get them off. The webs are too thick and too strong, Holding you still as their fangs Dig deep into your fragile, naked skin. So as they come around you and take you as The hostage of the week, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Mother of them all comes to stay And watch you; for she is very fond Of her children learning How to feed on human skin. Squish, Splash! Now you’re in pieces and all is ruined. But oh well, they can always Find another feast to feed upon For the next week for the dreadful © 2008 Nicole ReneeAuthor's Note
