I've got to be weird to write about this.... O.o

 

Making me feel off guard,

The world seems to be spinning around

My head as I start to feel uneasy

With what I had just done,

Making me feel like I had lost myself

With the nectar that I had just tasted

On an impulse.

This was a stupid idea in first place,

Knowing that I would probably

Get this way if I pulled it off again.

Now that I know the consequence

That would toll over my body, I will
Stand to triumph over the illness;
The ‘nectar’ that was touched

To my lips before I knew what

The action was going to be.

 But I know that
Everything will be alright,

Knowing that I will always
Remember the night

That I almost gave up

To the thing that almost

Won over my clouded mind.

Author's Note

I will never drink an energy drink again (if I'm reminded to not drink it again..). I just feel like crap right now because I drank one. Xp ....And this just seems like I'm rambling on without making this make any sense at all. Lol. XD

haha. great poem, i loved the off beat subject. and i love energy drinks, you have to get used to them, lol. Monster is nothing, drink a whole redline... i was curled up on the couch watching the world pulse in and out, it was like i was on speed... pretty horrible. lol

Ya I'v had in energy drink.. just last week...This poem was sweet..I liked how you make the Letters big.. make them stand out! And yes I agree with never drink aother energy drink. Makes you freak out and I get really weird dreams.. Keep write.. I like this one
