I Don't CareA Poem by Nicole Renee
In the Darkness I usually fall, seeing no light As the tunnel drains my life from The very air I breathe. But On this particular night, A legend will be awoken from its Never ending slumber, Taking all it needs to fight The many things that it needs to Save me from this infinite darkness That I’m forced to crawl through All my life since nobody else will save me. As its Carrying me in its strong arms, I wonder what’s going to happen to me now, Wondering if I will have a hand to hold, Wondering if I will be found again on A tunnel of darkness with no help To lead me through as I cry out for help. But Who had saved me from what I was going through before…. Thank you, I owe you my life. © 2008 Nicole ReneeAuthor's Note
