The Unwanted Friend

It's about Panic/ Anxiety attacks.

 

Fear, pain, and

The loss of breath.

The spiders come alive,

Or the time passes us by.

Even the smallest things

Can make us tweak.
We look around and

We watch our backs!

You don’t know when

It’ll come along and attack

You from behind,

Even if you’re in

A room all by yourself.

So take some deep breaths;

Everything will be alright.

Author's Note

I've had plenty of them, so I know how it feels. I have panic attacks when I either think of death (if I'm in deep thought of it) or if I'm almost late to a class. Last year, my Geometry teacher gave me detention because I was late three times to her class. Ever since, I've been paranoid about being on time (hence, the panic attacks that I have a lot). That's the info. about the line that saids," Or the time passes us by. " Then the spiders is about a friend of mine that's recently had a anxiety attack about spiders. O.o"

I can understand this poem well. The wording is good. Form and view...I can understand where your coming from but I want to feel it too. You might want to push the message a little harder so your readers can were your shoes. Just accent your words and the rest will follow...Nice write

yeah, it makes sense now. At first I thought the spiders were something else. I used to have anxiety attacks a lot and when I had a really severe attack I would get tingling sensations on my back and head...I'd freak out because I thought the were spiders...and I hate spiders a lot...

I liked the poem; short, concise... keep at it.
