The Arrow of Pain

The Arrow of Pain

A Poem by Nicole Renee
"

Another ventish poem

"

You shot the Arrow of Pain.
I hope you're proud of yourself.
I know I'm not perfect,

Or that I only speak my mind

When I want to be heard.

But I don't deserve the
Arrow inside of me at all,

Slowly dying from what
It's causing me to feel.

Crying out for help,

I afterwhile shrug and give up.

Why should anybody help me

When I want the arrow out the most?

Author's Note

Nicole Renee
My mom snapped at me for no reason, but I talked to her (on my grandma's cell) and she said she was sorry. But it doesn't change the fact that I'm still pissed off and that I don't want to go home at this moment. ...Does the last four lines make sense? I have no idea. X/
