The Loss

For the loss of my work and everyone else's work that got unfortunately lost on Writerscafe.

Half my heart been torn out,
My soul is crying from the pain.
Everything that was there
Has vanished in the front of my eyes,
Not knowing about it until now.
I used to blind, yet I can see again.
The other half is irreplaceable,
Not being able to mend it back together.
Hopefully, there will be a new light;
A new road to step upon.
But for now, the sorrow
Will not fade away,
And the scar will be upon
My heart for what
Feels an eternity.

Author's Note

I know that everyone is pissed off about the lose (I know I am), but I'm really hoping that I'll be able to create more (and possibly?) better stuff, even though what I had was what I liked. It hurt me so bad when I found out because I poured my soul and heart into every single one of those poems and I know I'll never get them back (I know everyone feels the same). I feel shallow for talking about myself, so I'm sorry. ^_^

You can really get the feelings being envoked in this poem.
It made me feel her emotions which is always good in poems.
