A Chapter by Nicole

Everyday I wake, I look to the sky.

The beautiful sky, the birds singing, the moon still shining.

The sun hiding behind the horizons.

"Making the treeline look like crooked teeth,

in the mouth of a man who would devour us all."

Everyday I wake, I look to the sky.

I silently wait, for the night to arrive.

The night, holds a beautiful thing.

The thing it holds is what hooks us,

The thing it holds is what sets us free.

The thing it holds is ecstasy.

This is beautiful.
I love how short it is, but how much imagery and description it contains.
It's lovely.=)
Waiting for the night^_^ That's awesomee.

I like the imagery and the Deathcab allusion hehe, but I really think you can add more to this especially when it shifts from day to night. I can understand the scenery when you look to the sky, but what I don't really get from this is why you look to the sky everyday you wake up and while I can see what you like about the night I don't see why you want the ecstasy that night brings. I think you (and the reader) could benefit a lot by going deeper inside yourself and pulling out more than just observations about the sky or night. And also how do the two things relate to you? Why do you enjoy them both? Keep digging and when you find the answer then let it flow from you to your work here. :)
