Robert Frost Had It Right

Robert Frost Had It Right

A Poem by nicolecartwright

I took the road less travelled,

It made my way harder to find.

Maybe Robert Frost had it wrong,

Maybe it was all in his mind.

I know that way leads onto way,

We never just stop still -

Whether we're climbing the steepest mountain,

Or simply rolling downhill.

How can we only get one life,

When there's still so much to do?

How can we conquer indecision,

So our journey rings true?

Time is not our friend in life,

It is the enemy, undisguised.

But no matter whether I'm beating the clock,

I will never compromise.

I choose the road less travelled,

And though my way has been harder to find -

I forge a path specific to me,

And I'm leaving a trail behind.

I love this! The road less traveled is never easy, but when you get to the end you will see that your life has been one of a kind. Great words :)
