shes not an angel

I don't like giving descriptions, I let the pics I add do the talking:)

she will arrive in a moment
this is the moment I have been
waiting for for an eternity
I still cannot believe that
she will come at my place
that's what she told
me an hour ago, smiling

and I already put fresh
flowers on the table
to create some atmosphere
this time it's not a lie,
she will come at my
place tonight, she won't go
to the other guy.

she's always in my mind
she's like an obsession that
inflames my senses and fantasy
and I imagine to have her here
and I imagine to seize her
in my arms, to seize
her like this.

she's the only one in my mind
she's like a fire on my skin
that I cannot wash
and in my dreaming eyes
I see her like an angel
she, who is actually not an angel.

midnight has passed and I
have already extinguished all
the stars on the ceiling
I'm going to bed and I think again
that she will come to my place
that's what she told me
a day a long time ago.

she's the only one in my mind.........my angel, why did you desert me?

I like these lines especially as there is great urgency in them and the fantasy seems utterly alive here...

and I imagine to have her here
and I imagine to seize her
in my arms, to seize
her like this.

And the notion of a woman being a fantasy angel, but also not an angel combines the two way men often look at women. Of course the ideal is to have both types of woman in one!

Interesting write...I feel the anticipation, the excitement, and then the let down. You capture it all very nicely in this sad awakening.

I like the photos you add. I could see how high your hopes were. You know, people are supposed to keep their word. Not lead someone on as happened to you. The poem flows well. I wish it was just a little bittersweet, but it isn't. She hurt you and you still have some loyalty for her. Well expressed.

I love the Idea, reminds me of my first "Tell me what you are!" strange title but kinda the same Idea, so I basically loved it, but I think "High Road" was right about the flow, that needs a bit of work, I might be wrong

Either ways, great Job
All the best,

Its pretty good, I think the flow is a little off in some places but most of the images are good.

Ah yes, but a true Angel is with you whether you realize it or not...nice, thoughtful write.
