Leaves

It was just another day
And I was walking to school
With a flashy bag on my shoulders,
I thought that I looked cool

But then I noticed around me
Strange brown dust covered the ground
I looked around in shock,
Green leaves were nowhere to be found

I ran home to dad
Who then explained to me the the reason
Telling me why the earth turned bare
And assured me that they would return in season

This got me thinking hard
If bad leaves died and old leaves grew
Then maybe all who did me wrong,
Would go away too!
