You

You

A Poem by Anika

The way your lips curve upward,
When you smile at my antics.

The way you threw your arm around me,
Oblivious to the shivers that ran down my spine.

I remember the day when you said that you loved me,
You may have forgotten but I never did.

Your laugh echos in my mind,
It's a sound that never leaves.

I often wonder if you think of me.
I seriously hope you do.

I constantly picture you in my head and smile,
It's a bad habit that I'm yet to break.

I ask around to know if there's someone,
Someone who replaced me and the memories we shared.

But then I realize, that what we had could never be replaced,
You may have forgotten but i never did.
