DespondencyA Poem by Nickee CarlsonThis is how I feel. Awesome, huh?
Despondency,
Yes, that reign of terror again. That fear that oozes out every pore in your body, as your sweat tries to escape the petrified prism of organs, which are working overtime to keep up with your heart; whom is beating so fast that at any moment it could shatter. The anxiety, the fear that washes over you is so unbearable, but somehow you manage. Then you are hit. Despondency creeps over your sudden panic and drowns you in gloom, Your fears, panic, anxiety all cease to exist in this cold blackened place. With every breath you take you feel the singe of hatred and disparity. the last breath of faith rips out of you when you exhale: As the despondency takes control.
