Lie is Key: Part Three Chapter OneA Chapter by Nick "The Stick" BranyonThis is when Caroline just faced the random dream.
As the time got toward sunset, Caroline finally spoke after the horrific scream that morning. She said,
"You know that I am okay. Just terrified from that dream. Please Joe, don't be worried for me." "I am alittle scared this morning for you and I just hope that this want happen again; well you know what I mean." I replied looking out the window seeing fisherman in the distance. I was feeling very sorry for my Caroline that this happened and I wanted to make her forget the sorrow on her gorgeous face. In this so-called big head of mine, I thought to take my Caroline outside and swim with her like we used to do when we first dated. The last time we did this was ten years ago. This was when I was a senior at USC and met Caroline at a party. She was a twenty-two year old Junior and I twenty-four. I had a grin on my face. Caroline looked at me like a, what in the hell you thinking about now phase. I looked directly at her and told her what I was thinking. Caroline looked away and said, "Are you sure because you know that we haven't done this in forever?" "I am One hundred and fifty percent sure. It is just a swim at the dock," I replied. "Okay, but I have a better greater idea," Caroline replied back with a smirk. "What is it?" I asked getting closer and closer toward my Caroline. "What about going on our Cobalt boat and watch the waterfall?" In Lake Jocassee, there are about four waterfalls, that I know of. The mountain streams wash down to the lake which brings in cold water. I liked the idea and said, "Get ready and bring the Bud Light," I said as sweet as I should be. © 2012 Nick "The Stick" BranyonAuthor's Note
