Lie is Key: Part Two Chapter OneA Chapter by Nick "The Stick" BranyonI really need some reviews and comments on my story.
That very next day. I woke up very tired at 7:30 a.m. My eyes were squinted as I walked through the bright sunshine with my half naked self. My Caroline had the day off from work since it was a Saturday. I would let Caroline sleep in while I do my regular morning routines; make breakfast for Caroline and I, jog in the woods, check the boat, and finally to follow my fans on Facebook and Twitter in my office.
At 7:59 a.m., I got done eating my breakfast and went out for a jog. Sweatpants and a muscle shirt is all I've worn for the jog. My jog is exactly one-mile from the path I made my spare times away from the fame around back to the house. I used to be a college distance runner and a basketball player for the University of South Carolina. Over the years, I started slacking on the exercises and more on my writing career. At 8:05 a.m., I sweated through the jog and went straight to my boat. I check on it everyday when I have the chance to see if anyone messed with it or the raccoons torn holes on my boat cover. The boat was fine, like always, and later got back into the house. Caroline was still asleep in the bed as I quietly walked by the room to my office. At 8:10 a.m., I started tweeting saying my novel is done and put a Facebook status that my novel will come out when done published. As I sat on the rolling chair with my workout clothes on still, I heard Caroline. I looked to see if she woke up but she didn't. I thought she was still asleep so I turned back for one second and that same strange noise came again. This time that noise got louder and I became cautious for my Caroline. I asked softly with concern, "You alright Caroline?" I walked slowly toward her and the noise kept getting louder and louder. Only three feet away from her. I asked again, still with concern but louder, "YOU ALRIGHT CAROLINE?" Caroline never replied. Then she screamed with force and strengh that the windows vibrated. Caroline was screaming, "HELP, HELP...., HHEELLPP!" I got down on my knees because of the screaming. I crawled toward Caroline and grabbed her by the shoulders. She shock as I held her shoulders and shaking her. I said aloud, "IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S ALRIGHT CAROLINE. I AM HERE WITH YOU!" Caroline finally woke up and the room and house became silent with me wondering what the hell happened. I was holding Caroline as close to me as possible. Her chest was pressured upon me and I asked softly, "What was that Caroline?" She drew tears and I helped wipe it off her as she replied, "A fearsome dream honey; it was horrible. It was a dream of me dying in pain." "Caroline, nothing will happen to you, I promise." She smiled in her pink tink-top and pajama pants. I can't even recall anything about this that much. Atleast I made my Caroline feel protected and safe from harm. © 2012 Nick "The Stick" BranyonAuthor's Note
