The Sword's Scabbard

The Sword's Scabbard

A Poem by Nick Granger

Arthur-

     come here and listen!

Irresolvable stone

No tools may conquer it

Ideas surrounding it

     breeding more and more

Ideas within the crescent of western gate

Tools of the east and future-

     impotent and sexless

This stone you see here

is the clitoral hood of my sister

     pure and potent

full of sex and seed of Perseus

Empty of images and implements

Unhewn altar

Between the legs of Hathor

Blade infinitely short

Scabbard unendingly deep

     and pulsing with welcome

Take it!

You torn body of blackening God

     in raping dusk

     and action potential

[This is for public viewing, though not to be of profit to anyone but myself.]
