Fire Pit

Fire Pit

A Poem by Nick Granger

Mourning the desolate face of war

Creation-

     pardon no thing

Life is endless

And death is war

     and all that exists

in the time of cognitive abyss

Yet there is this desire

that fills the hearth with passion

Great Hestia

burn forever the art of falling into shells and ashes

Exponential states of consciousness

Shark's teeth

Synergy

Dense spectral

Yellow trumpets and thorn apples

Morning glories and san pedro cactus

Dark slurping nightmares and illuminations

Prophets of the abandoned house

Death no more

Even to die is life

This coming and going forever

     is an echo

     and I am no more

And I am the God of Moses
