Flakes of TimeA Poem by AstroThe icy lens of Time
Physics tells us~
The faster an object is moving, the slower time passes for it. I love this idea. The snow drifting down from the clouds silently drifting in formation as tiny white paratroopers reaching the soil as a blanket a crystalline fabric moving across the landscape swift as the wind Whenever one solitary flake lands smack onto the tip of my nose or caught in the spiderweb of my lashes I focus my eyes upon it locking my stare deep into its icy core hoping excitedly transfixed on the idea that there within it among the glassy tree I can witness the past ...and become a time traveler, if only for a moment. © 2014 AstroReviews
