Way to bring this back to the foreground. I myself, remember it's initial media attention, regarding it rivaling "Chernobyl", but have not given it much attention beyond it. It a message such as this, that reminds us how disconnected/connected from our natural world we really are. Now, I'm off to update myself! Thanks for sharing these thoughts, bro.

I keep apprised of this issue daily, I am a big seafood lover, having grown up in the Maritimes of Canada and now living on the West Coast across the pond as they say to Japan. You are right, that it comes and goes in the media(mainstream) and so I try and keep my friends and families informed about what is still going on, and write pieces that hopefully will open a few eyes as well.
