What I like about this piece in particular is how it can be spread across so many meanings. It allows itself for personal and private interpretation. Discovery of another human being is exactly a journey, an exploration and an unveiling all the little nuances in personality, fears, etc. You captured the adventure eloquently. I love, particularly, how you referenced stardust, universe, unknown worlds and space. Such beauty encased in a vast expanse requiring diligence for full discovery. Very beautiful. I would even go so much as to say that this could be read as a love poem. I know that I would appreciate such a gesture. (I would have love to rip this one a new one ;D but I can't.) Well done!

Again, and I know you don't feel I need to, I am sorry if my review was less than flattering for your own piece. This poem was meant to be all of the things that you said it was(including a love poem). Should you find it easier to rip me a new one, on my next piece I'll be on the ready. ;)

"Will curiosity and desire
lie in the grass spent?" Felt these words, brother. You've given wonderful life to the pursuit of another and it's processes.
Its the path that we choose to walk in life that helps define who we are. The question does beg however?? Was that the right path for us to choose or in fact did we cross paths at some point? I don't think it really matters as we learn along the way.

Each step a winding way around the same existence we all share just in different directions. The trick is to keep the spots on the horizon fixed, then if you make a wrong turn, it's easier to take a step back and begin again. Thanks again for the thoughtful review Troy.
So many paths that we must walks...so many courses set and course changes made in order to get where we were really meant to be. Sometimes we cross paths with the object of our desire, and sometimes those paths are but stardust painted in paralell lines across the night sky, but we are better for the dreaming and for the wanting, I think. We are indeed defined by our paths, those we choose and those that we find ourselves on despite our attempts to diverge, but you know what they say, "where there is a will, there is a way". Beautiful writing, my friend.
