Back Alley Jazz

Back Alley Jazz

A Poem by Astro
"

Notes that flow as they follow the funky spit that I did swallow.

"
when I come upon beats

 that lay like alleyways

leading with legs

that lash like leather

whipping into an empty courtyard

where wooden pallets knock

a hollow tempo

and

tap

metallic melody

across dumpster symphonies

that cause a passing pedestrian

to skip swiftly

with the night

I can dance to it, so that's always a good thing....sounds/reads like Stomp. I wanted it to continue on....

Thanks Frieda, I might still add to it, that was me just getting a brainstorm down.
