The True Value of MetalA Poem by AstroLife from the ground up
I'm more comfortable wearing cheap metal
than I would be adorning golden armor. I may draw a glance, but never a stare. I can move freely and without fear. I have less to lose and all the more to gain. People often underestimate my abilities, Allowing more chances to impress them. I can work slowly and without shame. My mettle will be tested and rust shall come. I will be undervalued and often dismissed, but I understand the true cost of things. When I am left naked, I remain proud. When you come from nothing, you still live. Not broken nor bent, not ever so weak, that falling down is seen as devastation. I can make mistakes and also succeed.
