Astro, you can tell by the reviews of this fine poem that the instigators still roam the streets and as long as that is the case, no peace will be found. Your poem tells it like it is and I hear you, loud and clear my friend. Some people are so miserable in their own lives that they try and take others down with them. Some stand and some fall. Keep writing the peace my friend and hopefully someday all will hear.

seems i reached out to the true instigators on many occasions and they continue to pander their lies and assaults under the guise of righteousness. when i reach out to one, another jumps in the fray and fuels the fires. this is how it is when several people decide to gang up on one for their own perverse pleasure and personal agendas...admitting fault is not an option to these misguided and evil souls...so...once again , here i go...i want only peace and harmony and coexistence and plead to your better natures for this crap to end...if you have no better natures , then continue your pathetic little battles until all have seen you for who and what you truly are. olive branch extended, for the umpteenth time....i am sick of this childish nonsense. sorry, i used your thread for this, but i am so over this ridiculous crap.

Well if I am made to be the mediator for this tension, then so be it. I am forgiving and willing to share the WC with all, I don't pretend to be better than anyone else but I'm keen enough to see ripples in the water when I see them. So I just ask that we agree to disagree for the time being on some subjects but need not be offended by the differences in opinions we may have. Peace.

i have offered peace numerous times, to no avail....now this is bordering on the ridiculous...i have unblocked, attempted reason and even given apologies....these individuals are obviously enjoying the fracas.....i give up.....from now on, ignorance is bliss.

I can hear 'All we are saying is give peace a chance' playing in the background of your poetry...as long as people exist, I suppose this will continue on, it's been the way of the world for centuries unfortunately, there are no good solutions, people kill in the name of love and religion, so what does that tell you? I so do love the sentiment of your piece though....

It might mean that abstract ideas are difficult to fully understand and are victim to subjectivity hence the various understandings of their meaning and subsequent atrocities committed because of this. We must try and understand better ourselves to fully grasp the knowledge that is 'living peacefully' and the more we attempt this the closer we all become to its inevitability.

If you look at evolution you can see that instincts change over time, as I believe they can for mankind. It does seem hard to believe but by removing ourselves from the equation and looking at the rest of the world these facts become resoundingly apparent. I feel good about this as you should too. xoxo

It's that very ability to offer kindness to a stranger that is the basis for better understanding. I am thrilled that you feel good about my poetry as I am a firm believer that we can all make a difference in the lives of others. If I can write something that allows people to forget things they might otherwise have a hard time not focusing on and brings about contemplation of a better way, then I have achieved my goal and in turn have received praise from you for it. This makes me feel good. :)

Not if the person saw the error of their ways and wanted to make up for it. I'm not trying to defend or offend by adding this I'm just looking for the silver lining. I have been bullied and have been a bully, I'm not proud of either, but I've also become friends with both the bully and the bullied so I know that it's possible to move past things.
