Words of an Angry FeministA Poem by NicholeHemstockThis will make all of you women who momentarily hate men feel pretty good. This is not what I'm all about, I don't hate men and I'm not a feminist, but I was angry and this is what happens.
And you see me as what?
An object? A pain? Nothing more than an object- For your personal gain? An adolescent child Who is afraid and naive? Nothing more than someone You can call when in need? A something-not a who That you could live without Not even worth worrying about. "So what if she leaves? What would that mean? Everyone knows She is nothing to me!" I'm just here out of ignorance, Here for your convenience Well I'm not staying and gratifying this existence! Finally deciding I'm worth something more, I've found a peace alone That I've never had before. After all this, why would I stall? You helped me realize I'm worth something after all.
