White Like The Tears

White Like The Tears

A Poem by Nichole Juliet Hemstock
"

A lead off of Black Like The Ashes.

"
Anguish in my voice,
Steady thoughts soothe my soul,
Staring at the end,
Letting Death take control.

White like the tears,
That fall from my eyes,
Some razor spills red,
The key to my demise.

A loss of consciousness,
A whirlwind of fear,
My Demons taunt me,
A reminder they're here.

Fighting a war,
It's impossible to win,
Lost in the water,
And I"m drowning again.

White like the tears,
That fell as I died,
Watch as the light,
Slips from my eyes.
