Paciscor Quod Eternus Vitualamen of NuntiusA Poem by Camille CorbettJesus's crucifixion
A soliloquy of a tear running rampant on the wholesome bareness of his cheek, The messianic lamentations from his valiant bosom, The authenticity of crimson gore slowly dripping from his virtuous brow, Oh the fragility of being mortal enforces his martyr, Teetering so close to the menacing crux of death, The termination of life so clear, yet the obdurate mortal sun casting its beams unto the tired face of the holiest of souls, A jest is carved on top of his crucifixion, Hitherto that same jest is filled with veracity and the infallibleness of his nature. Arisen shall he it is said, Nevertheless death is upon his immolating existence warning never to forgo the awesomeness in his subservience and the intensity of his omnipotent forbearer, Martyring thine self for scoundrels that boast with apathetic attitudes towards their brethren and deceitful transgressors with cynicism as their creed, Twas a selfless act and required for commencing the previous harmonious relationship of creator and creation. Yet, with sweat upon his gaunt being and the aridity of his mouth he fought aguishly with his heavenly father till the heavy burden of mortality lay hard against this blessed Martyrs form, submitting to his father’s will and by doing so allowing the laceration of the once holy veil and the eye of the needle to broaden for humanity once again. © 2010 Camille CorbettAuthor's Note
