Sand Man of the CenturyA Poem by Nicthis is a poem I wrote with a friend, it is about a dying man's life in the desert...Sand Man of the Century Here lyes a man without the will to stand "I shall regret my life, my love in time Cast out my breath into it's long last sleep He spoke through the hollowing peaks, vast Dust blew as the rising dunes fell off Drowned by the clashing waves of the world Exiled by the depth of every love one A cloud of mist covered his sunken eyes As his eyelids closed, he dreamt of the sea All shall end in every man's willing post May God have mercy. -Nic and Boey © 2011 Nic |
