Can't you be the YOU for a day?

Can't you be the YOU for a day?

A Poem by Nibedita Pradhan
"

Valuing the Life.

"
Finding Self in silence
I, dare to ask me today
One emotion is fool's trade
Can't you be the YOU for a day?

Departing a breath, with drowsy eyes
Let my conscience exercise
This, day by day like fading starts
Forgetting self to harmonize

Sometimes this, Sometimes that
Became, an excuse to avoid
Nor God nor human near
No time to talk I made

Impersonating the common other
I, Still on a train to discover
Destiny lies at the minute
For actually what was I happier.

Meeting there a good image of
Me, Running opposite inside
Often tears showed the true
to conceal what, I tried

Dreamy eyes build dreams
never get tired to give thinks
Why raising with a heavy heart
Let the odds float to inches.
