My Dad :)

Even though he doesn't share my blood, he's still my daddy :)

 A dad is not just someone who shares my blood.

A dad is not just someone who married my mom.

A dad is someone who married her children too.

A dad is someone who is there for us when we need him,

whose seen us cry

who's witnessed our growing up and changes inside.

He's my dad because he loves my mom

and loves her children too.

He's my dad because he cares for me even though we don't share blood.

I hope in his heart he feels as though I am biologically his

because in my heart 

he is biologically mine.

He is my dad.

Aw! This poem is absolutely wonderful :) It is so heartfelt, pure and brilliantly written. I like how you built up the plot starting from a vast topic and zeroing in onto your own dad. I love the shape the poem forms. As many others have mentioned, I was touched by the part about you loving your dad like you were biologically his own and hoping that he would reciprocate your feelings. Great poem, keep writing!
P.S-I think you meant 'who's' or 'who has' instead of 'whose' in the fifth line.
